The Thicker, 1/8"Cardboard Wads Acts as the Gas Seal. It is the First Wad Loaded Over the Powder in a Muzzleloader or Modern Shotshell.
It Can Be Used for Both Black Powder and Smokeless Loads. It Also Serves as a Filler in Plastic Shotcups for Reduced Shot Charges.
